Welcome to Registration and Advising on The Globe

Dear Students,

Thank you for visiting the Registration and Advising page on The Globe.

Once logged in, this is where you get access to your academic information, including your course schedule, unofficial transcript, and more. Once logged in, this is where you will register for classes during registration and drop/add periods.  You will find links to useful documents and forms you can download.

Make sure you keep track of all the important dates regarding registration, drop/add and withdrawals. You bear the responsibility for your academic choices and progress.  It is your responsibility to be in constant contact with your advisor through emails or face-to-face meetings to make sure that you are on the right track.

Jeremy Kinsman, Registrar/Asst VP for Student & Academic Affairs (Macmillan 200) and Melanie Cullen, Associate Registrar (Macmillan 202), are generally available M-F 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with occasional closings for meetings. Don't stop coming by (or calling or e-mailing) simply because so much is now available on The Globe--we'd miss you!

Sincerely, Registrar's Office

Welcome to Wells!

Picking classes for your first semester of college can be exciting, but also a little confusing! Here's a few things to keep in mind:

All new first-year students entering in Fall 2024 must take WLLS 100 and a Gateway course. WLLS 105 can be taken in either the fall or spring semester of the first year. You may be placed into WLLS 105 based off from the writing placement test taken during orientation. WLLS 100 is optional for transfer students.

Students should take between 12 and 15 credits in the first semester, but no more than 16 credits. Pick a class from your intended major (your major can be changed if you decide to) and then some other courses that are of interest to you or will fulfill general education requirements. You'll find that most lower-level courses fulfill some component of our general education core requirements. You can view general education requirements and major requirements via the 2024 catalog when it becomes available. Please see the 2023 catalog for a general idea. Check out your course needs via the GLOBE once logged in, students, my academic information.

For more information, see this explanation about how to add the courses.
