The Wells College residence halls are your "home away from home," and are designed to be a community where you can learn, live, sleep, and be comfortable in. It is where you'll learn about yourself, others and the world we live in; it's where you'll have the opportunity to take on challenges, discover leadership opportunities, and learn to be an independent thinker.  You'll have the opportunity to interact with new people, explore new interests, and learn to solve problems.

Housing waitlist

You are not authorized to use this portlet; It is only available to users in certain roles within the portal.

Fall 2017

All new student Housing Assignments will be done in July 2017.  Once assigned, new students will be able to see their housing assignment on the Globe.

New student Move in is Sunday, August 20th.  Keep an eye out for more info as we get closer to August!

Updated Fire Safety Policy

Due to recent fire marshal inspections, the Office of Residence Life has implemented a new Fire Safety Policy for the Wells College Residence Halls.  Take a look at the updated version here!  If you have any questions about our policies or how to decorate your space, please contact the Office of Residence Life.

Housing Applications 2017-2018
Summer Student Housing Application (.docx, 49K)

Eligibility for summer housing is specifically contingent upon your affiliation with Wells College.  Only students that are returning to Wells in the Fall as Matriculated Students that are working for Wells College during the summer, or are participating in an internship through Wells College in the surrounding area, are eligible to apply for summer housing.  Students working for the Inns of Aurora are also eligible.  To participate in summer housing, students must be matriculated students for the Fall of 2017.  Students graduating in May 2017 are not eligible for summer housing on-campus

 

Summer housing is $35 a week, plus an extra fee for transition periods.  See the application for full details.

 

All applications are due to Main 104 by 4:30pm on Friday, April 21st.

Housing Accommodation Request Forms

These forms serve as a starting point for a conversation - fill them out as best as you can, and a staff member from Campus Life will reach out to follow up on your request. 

Step 1: Fill out the "Housing Accommodation Request Form"

Step 2: Supplement the above form with appropriate addition documentation (for medical accommodations), or supplemental form (for gender accommodations or housing exemptions) 

Any information disclosed on these forms is confidential. The Dean of Students (Jennifer Michael), Director of Campus Life (Meg Flaherty), and Assistant Director of Student Success (Megan Riedl), if appropriate, review accommodation requests.

Green House- offline for 2017-2018 year

The first floor of the Green House includes a Living Room, Family Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Mud Room and 1/2 bath.  The Green House is the home of the Sustainability Learning Community and houses seven students.

Green House 2nd Floor (.jpg, 27K)

The Green House is open to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.  The second floor includes three double occupancy and one single occupancy bedrooms and a full bathroom.
