Dear New Students,
Welcome to Wells, we are so excited to have you join our community. This page of the Globe will allow you to complete a lot of the "business" that you will need to get done to prepare for your arrival on campus! On the right hand side you will see information about our Orientation program. 
You will also find the New Student forms on this page. Some of these forms are required, others are optional.  All required forms are due to us by July 1, 2016  if you are entering in the fall.

You should plan to arrive on campus on the following days:

August 21st for Orientation and classes beginning on August 25th.

This Community Reads!

"This Community Reads" is a program that encourages the Wells College community to engage in dialogue around a book that starts discussions and fuels ideas on campus.

Orientation & Move-In Information

Important Dates:
Wells Warm Up Dates: 
Thursday, July 14, 2016
Saturday, July 16, 2016
Wells Warm up is a 1-day (9:30am - 2:30pm) series of information sessions and workshops where students and families:
  • Meet Academic Advisors and Program Faculty
  • Register for Classes
  • Take language and math placement tests
  • See the actual Residence Hall Room they will be living in
  • Meet other new students face to face for the first time
Please note: you MUST register via the link above - reservations cannot be made over the phone. 
New Student Orientation:

  • Move-in begins at 8am on Sunday, August 21, 2016
  • First Day of Classes: Thursday, August 25, 2016
  • Convocation: Thursday, August 25, 2016
Fall Break: October 8-11, 2016

Required Forms
The Housing Preference Form, the Information and Emergency Contact Form, and the FERPA Release Form are all required forms which must be submitted and received by the Division of Academic and Student Life.
The Housing Preference and Information and Emergency Contact Forms can be submitted online, mailed or faxed. The FERPA Release Form must be either mailed or faxed.

The Health Report is a required form which must be submitted and received by the Medical Center by the end of add/drop of your first semester at Wells.

Disabilities Disclosure Form (.pdf, 448K)
Please complete this form if you would like to disclose a disability to the College. This form must be mailed or faxed. If you have questions about this form, or the disclosure of such, please contact the Office of Student Achievement at 315-364-3432.
Student Activities & Religious Preferences Form (.pdf, 441K)
Please fill out this form if you would like to let us know what activities and clubs you are interested in and/or would like to let us know your religious preference. This form can be mailed, faxed, or filled out online here
Vehicle Registration Form (.pdf, 431K)
If you intend to have a vehicle on campus you must register your vehicle using this form. This form can be mailed or faxed. 
Housing Exemption Form (.pdf, 446K)
Although Wells College is a residential campus and all students are required to live on campus, some rare exceptions. See the Housing Exemption Form for more information. This form can be mailed or faxed.
